I had the pleasure of attending the Vodaphone Fashion Weekend last week with my daughter Katy – we had a fun afternoon shopping, people watching and seeing a fantastic fashion show previewing the trends for this season.
There were four main Spring Fashion themes that they focussed on:
Big Florals, Daytime Sparkle, Monochrome and the 1970’s.
Big Florals
There are flowers everywhere in the shops at the moment and generally the bigger the better! The flowers are on dresses, tops, trousers and skirts.
Daytime Sparkle
This was shown more as a sheen in tops , dresses and coats, but in the shops there are lots of metallic accessories to choose from (both silver and gold).
Monochrome
There is plenty of the ubiquitous black and white available in the shops but there is also a vast array of navy and white as well.
All the clothes shown above are from the Spring/Summer range at Phase Eight
The 1970’s
Yes that’s right you can dig out your flares, slip on a kaftan or kimono, find anything with fringing and Google how to crochet!!
