When Gail  had her first baby she couldn’t go back to her high-pressured retail management role without taking on a full-time nanny and that wasn’t what she wanted from her life at that point.

So with typical single-mindedness, she set out to find a new career that would let her work precisely the way she wanted. With part-time child care, she used her retail experience and style talent to launch her style consultancy business, building a strong base of delighted clients – many of whom still come back to her today.

With her children now in school and university, Gail structures her working year exactly the way she wants it, taking August off and never, ever working over Christmas. As she points out ‘I shape my business to work for me and my family, not the other way round!’
